Too hot to keep the laptop open

It's been hot, and my enthusiasm for opening the laptop again after work has been fairly limited.

There are things I could do on this site. There are always things I could do on this site. A small adjustment leads to another idea, which leads to a list, and suddenly a quiet evening has acquired a backlog. In this weather the list can wait.

I enjoy making things, so another evening at the computer doesn't always feel like more work. But it is still another stretch of sitting in front of a screen after a day spent doing much the same.

I'll be back adjusting some tiny bit of CSS soon enough. For now I'd rather be outside once the day is a bit less hot.
