Why I Still Use Vanilla JS for Side Projects
For a small side project, I often just want a page and a script. Being able to open the files and follow what's happening is part of the appeal.
That choice has limits. Once state and repeated interactions get complicated, a framework may make things easier. I don't need to decide that on the first evening. I'd rather get the small version working and see which parts actually become awkward.
