How a Pattern Library Becomes a Culture

People use a pattern library when it helps them finish a page. They work around it when finding or changing a component takes too long.

So I'd pay attention to the workarounds. Is an example missing? Does the contribution need three approvals? Is the shared component trying to cover too many cases? Those are more useful questions than asking people to be more consistent. A library that accepts small improvements quickly has a better chance of staying relevant.
